WLC Club House. The Writers Theater.
Our clubhouse, Writers Theater.

Overview

In 2024, WLC will celebrate its 150th birthday as one of the oldest ongoing women’s clubs in the country. Since 1874, the WLC has included women from all walks of life and evolved to meet their changing needs.  Today, WLC welcomes all genders to become members.

What hasn’t changed is WLC’s commitment to philanthropy, education, and friendship.  WLC continues the legacy of philanthropy through our annual WLC Community Grant Awards. The club offers a variety of educational programs that promote personal growth and lifelong learning. And we never forget that we are here for friendship and fun through shared experiences and entertaining social activities.

Please join us in this special year, when we will honor and celebrate 150 years of the rich history and contributions of WLC women. If you have any questions about membership, feel free to reach out to Barbara Lincoln, Membership Chair.
